Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using BombShelter, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. If you are not legally able to accept these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must accept them for you.
What BombShelter provides
BombShelter is a comedy practice and performance-review tool. It provides on-device recording and transcription, delivery analysis, AI-selected virtual audience reactions, and local show history. Features, supported models, and availability may change as the product improves.
BombShelter does not guarantee professional results, audience approval, performance bookings, income, or any particular creative outcome.
Your performances and content
You retain ownership of the jokes, performances, recordings, and other content you create. You give BombShelter and the disclosed service providers a limited right to process the portions of that content needed to operate the features you choose, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to perform, record, and process material you use in BombShelter, including material involving other people. Do not record another person without any consent required by applicable law.
Optional research review
If you explicitly submit a saved show for research review, you confirm that you own or have permission to share the submitted material. The submission may include transcript text, reaction timing, model identity, and the exact provider-neutral context, timing, prosody, missingness, quality, and prior-action evidence used for its live model decisions. It never includes microphone audio.
You authorize BombShelter's research reviewers to analyze the submission and to replay that unchanged classification evidence through other available AI models for comparison. Only the routing identity changes for a comparison. Evidence that was not submitted will not be inferred or approximated. You grant BombShelter a limited, nonexclusive right to perform this review and analysis for comedy-structure and product research during the disclosed retention period. This permission does not transfer ownership of your material and ends when the submission is withdrawn or deleted, except for research results that no longer contain or identify the submitted text.
AI-generated audience reactions
Audience reactions are generated by automated systems. They may be delayed, inconsistent, inaccurate, inappropriate, or simply wrong. They are creative practice signals, not professional criticism, human audience research, or a judgment of your worth or talent. Use your own judgment when revising or performing material.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BombShelter for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Attempt to bypass App Attest, rate limits, model controls, authentication, or other security measures.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or burden it with automated traffic.
- Reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use the service to infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
BombShelter materials
The app, website, branding, visual design, software, and bundled materials are owned by or licensed to BombShelter and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service as intended; they do not transfer ownership.
Third-party services
BombShelter relies on platform and infrastructure services such as Apple, Cloudflare, and the AI provider named before a show. Their services may be governed by separate terms. App Store terms also apply to your download and use of the iOS or iPadOS app.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, or the service. We aim to keep BombShelter dependable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. You are responsible for maintaining copies of any material you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BombShelter is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BombShelter and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or reputational harm arising from use of the service. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using BombShelter at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal compliance, including for material violations of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
